Seacoast Spine & Sports Injuries Clinic

Your team

Seven clinicians, with training you can verify.

Meet the chiropractic doctors and doctors of physical therapy, read their full biographies, and choose a clinician around your goal, your preferred kind of care, and the clinic you can get to.

Choosing a provider

Match the clinician to the goal and the care you need

The team includes doctors of chiropractic and doctors of physical therapy with different training, techniques, and movement backgrounds. The right starting point may depend on whether you need a new diagnosis, progressive rehabilitation, vestibular or balance work, concussion screening, or continuity with a provider you already know.

Every provider page carries that clinician's full biography, their training and credentials, and the clinic where they practice. You are not tied to one clinician: patients can be seen by any provider of a given discipline, and notes are shared across the practice.

If you are unsure whom to request, call the clinic that is easiest to attend and describe the problem, location preference, and main goal. Scheduling staff can explain current availability without requiring you to diagnose yourself.

Team-based care

What useful collaboration looks like in practice

Collaboration should improve a decision or transition, not simply multiply appointments and treatments.

A chiropractic provider may identify a need for structured strength progression, balance training, postoperative rehabilitation, or vestibular care and coordinate with physical therapy. A physical therapist may identify joint, neurologic, or medical findings that need another evaluation. Our providers will refer outside the clinic when the patient would benefit from additional care or expertise.

Practical answers

Questions to resolve before the first visit

Can I request a provider by name?

Yes. Use the booking or contact options and state the provider and clinic you prefer. Availability and appointment type still need confirmation.

Which providers offer physical therapy?

Dr. Kaitlyn Ivanov, PT, DPT, Cert. MDT, and Dr. Hannah Azotea, PT, DPT, are our doctors of physical therapy. Dr. Ivanov practices in Portsmouth and Dr. Azotea in Alton. Confirm current schedule when booking.

Does an athletic background mean the provider only treats athletes?

No. Athletic experience can inform load and return decisions, while the same principles apply to work, caregiving, recreation, and daily movement goals.

Are provider biographies independently credential-verified?

The biography facts are sourced from clinic-published pages and current clinic data. Patients can also use the relevant New Hampshire licensing board or credentialing organization for independent verification.

Should I start with chiropractic care or physical therapy?

Start with the problem and goal. A new musculoskeletal complaint may fit either discipline, while postoperative rehabilitation, vestibular care, or a criteria-based return program may point toward physical therapy. Call the clinic when you want help choosing, and ask the evaluating provider to refer or coordinate when another discipline better fits a later stage.
