Hannah Azotea, PT, DPT - Doctor of Physical Therapy
Dr. Hannah Azotea graduated from Tufts University School of Medicine with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. She graduated Magna Cum Laude in December of 2016 with a Bachelor of Science degree, double-majoring in Health/Wellness and Business Management. In graduate school, Dr Azotea focused on outpatient orthopedic and vestibular electives and continues this focus with patients in our clinic. To expand her knowledge, Dr Azotea completed clinical rotations in various settings, including both outpatient and inpatient settings at Dartmouth Hitchcock Hospital. She achieved her Certification in Dry-Needling in 2022 and finds this to be a highly effective tool in her treatment of patients suffering from soft tissue injuries. Dr Azotea is a proud member of the American Physical Therapy Association
Dr Azotea has an extensive background in athletics, playing every sport available growing up. She now enjoys snowboarding, hiking, swimming, rock climbing, and running. She combines her athletic experiences with her drive to achieve excellence in patient care and finds that this helps her to provide compassionate and individualized treatment for every patient.
Personal Philosophy
Dr Azotea believes that all patients deserve an individualized treatment plan. You will commonly find her in the office reading the latest research so that she might implement these emerging trends in the care plans she designs for her patients. Her treatment techniques and assessment strategies for orthopedics and sports injuries are based on the most current and effective treatment research ensuring that her patients have the best chance to overcome any injuries or physical restrictions that might be preventing them from reaching their optimum health and wellness goals. Dr Azotea loves to work with patients of all ages and ability levels and strives to keep therapy interesting and relevant to her patient’s goals. She focuses on giving her patients the tools they need to learn to care for their bodies and return to doing the things they love.
Dr Azotea has a love for the great outdoors, she is an avid runner and believes in the importance of minimizing physical restrictions for each of her patients, thereby allowing them to reach full mobility and achieve vigorous good health.
